Adult Learning Opportunities at Temple B’nai Abraham 5773
Jewish learning is a life-long adventure full of excitement. It’s wonderful to build upon Jewish knowledge and amazing to sharpen your Jewish intellect. Whether you want to attend a Shabbat morning Torah study (Parasha class), hear a guest speaker, join with women for a Rosh Hodesh event, read a book or read the whole Bible, and much more, we have something for you!
Our classes are taught by our clergy, educators, wonderful guest teachers and scholars, all who are eager to share their passion for Judaism. We are also delighted to welcome community members to attend our classes, and are proud to offer two Florence Melton Adult Mini-School classes this year. You can join us once or many times—the choice is yours and we encourage you to let the year 5773 be rich with learning.
Check your email for updates on these and new programs throughout the year. All are welcome to attend. Most classes/programs are free, unless otherwise indicated.

Parashat HaShavuah
with Rabbi Clifford Kulwin
Join the lively discussion of legend and lore, the ancient world and the modern one, the Jewish people's feelings about its God, and God's feelings about His people. Through our reading of the weekly portion, and occasional forays into the traditional commentators, we seek not only to understand the profundities of Torah, but also to understand the world and ourselves a little better. Parallel English/Hebrew texts will be used. We hope you'll stay for services, but even if you can't, stop by for a weekly dose of Torah!
