March is here, and it is time to get ready for Passover. This month the children will be busy learning the story about the Jews exodus from Egypt. They will be prepared to tell the story and sing the songs and prayers for this major holiday. The children will bring home various holiday items they have created to use on your seder table.
Class and individual pictures will take place during two days: Tuesday, March 9,and Wednesday, March 10, 2010.
Tot Shabbat Service will be held on Friday, March 12,at 6:00 PM. Founding Director Sheila Grossman is the featured guest storyteller. A pizza dinner will follow the service. Enjoy the service, listen to a story and share a pizza dinner with old and new friends. March birthdays will be celebrated.
Passover comes early this year. Our Two Year Olds will attend a model Seder on Thursday, March 25,at 11:15 AM. The Three Year Olds and K-Readys have their Sederim on Friday, March 26,at 11:15 AM. Parents, as well as grandparents, are invited to attend. Invited guests make this a very special holiday. All of our families will enjoy listening to our story and songs and will enjoy the meal together. There will be no extended day on Friday, March 26.
Daddy’s Tot Time class will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2010,from 9:30 AM–11:00 PM. The children and their dads will spend time together, singing, eating and playing. It’s Dad’s turn to share the pleasure!
Spring recess starts Monday, March 29,through Friday, April 2. No classes will be held. There will be no school on Monday and Tuesday, April 5 and 6, in observance of Passover. School resumes Wednesday, April 7.
We hope the month goes “out like a lamb” as the season changes from winter to spring. Use this time to take the opportunity to experience seasonal changes such as warmer weather, budding trees and blooming crocuses.
