Rachel Coalition   Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil  Thursday, October 6, 6:30-7:30 PM, Livingston Memorial Oval   Rachel Coalition, a division of Jewish Family Service of MetroWest, NJ , invites you to our Second Annual Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil, which will be held on October 6, 2016,  from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Livingston Memorial Oval, Livingston, New Jersey.  Rachel Coalition’s  mission is to provide services and support to help improve the lives of victims of domestic violence. Rachel Coalition has taken a leadership role in developing a continuum of services to help break the cycle of family violence which impacts the community.  Services include individual and group counseling, a 24-HOUR crisis intervention hotline, information and referral services, community outreach and education, and access to legal and medical support are available to all, on a completely non-sectarian basis

The Candlelight Vigil is an awareness event, where we come together to help stop domestic violence.  We are asking for your participation at this event.  We seek your assistance in spreading the word and ask that you include the Candlelight Vigil in your calendar of events.  To assist you in promoting attendance, we have attached an event flyer, a Rachel Coalition 2016 highlights sheet and sample language to be included in your weekly bulletin, newsletters, eblasts, etc. For more information and to attend, please contact Sylvia Heller, MPH, Coordinator of Community Programs, JFS at 973-765-9050 or sheller@jfsmetrowest.org.

The cycle of violence will only be stopped when we come together as a community and demand change.  Your participation will help make this change happen.  Thank you for your support for this inspirational and educational event.
