The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) -Annual Community Event: What you need to know about BDS and the Pro-Israel response on September 9, 2014, 7:30 PM, at Temple Beth Shalom, Livingston. This year, we are looking to bring the entire community together to discuss the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement.  This is a sinister movement that impacts all Jews whether it be our children on college campuses, our congregants as they do business, or our community as it supports Israel.  The evening will feature a panel discussion with AIPAC in-house Counsel Keath Blatt, Former AHAVA CEO Elana Szyfer Drell, an AIPAC Student Activist, and Executive Director of the Israel on Campus Coalition, Jacob Baime. This goal of the event is to educate the community about the BDS movement and to illustrate what the pro-Israel movement is doing in response. Contact: Alexa Silverman
