It is the Temple's goal to strengthen our community’s bond with Israel through social, educational and spiritual programs and actions. We have an all-inclusive target group, ranging from pre-schoolers to mature congregants. Proposed programs include: well-known speakers on Israel, book reviews on Israel related subjects, congregational theme tours to Israel as well as Israel awareness activities at Religious School and TBA youth groups.

TBA MISSION TO ISRAEL  December 21-31, 2008

Join the Temple B'nai Abraham trip to Israel this coming December. The trip is designed for everybody:  adults traveling without kids, adults travelling with kids, and grandparents are all welcome.  The kids need to be at least seven but every age above that, including college and beyond, will have a great time.  The trip will appeal both to first timers and to those who have visited Israel before.  We will do all the things one must do while in Israel – visit the Western Wall, walk the beach in Tel Aviv, swim in the Dead Sea, climb Masada, explore the Negev – as well as experience some less traveled roads – an Air Force base, perhaps, a nature reserve, the new and quite extraordinary Palmach museum, and maybe even rappelling the Mitzpeh Ramon crater.  In eleven days we won’t be able to get quite everywhere…but we’ll sure try!

As with previous trips, ours will officially be a mission of the Federation, so that through MetroWest connections we will enjoy special opportunities as well as travel in absolute and complete safety.  We will meet and learn from key Israeli leaders, and Rabbi Kulwin’s personal contacts will enable us to have some unique experiences.  Professional guides will accompany us the entire time, as will youth counselors to arrange special activities for the kids and keep them engaged and enthused.

Click here to view the trip brochure, includes pricing and timing details.  If you are interested and would like to have more information, please be in direct touch with Rabbi Kulwin, or with Neimah Tractenberg at the Federation office.  Space is limited!

Any visit to Israel is one of the greatest experiences a Jew can know. To do so with our families, both personal and extended TBA families, takes things to a whole new dimension. We hope that you will join us!
