Passover (Yizkor): Saturday, April 30
10:00 AM Shaabat/Passover Service, Yizkor

Yom HaShoah Services, Wednesday, May 4, 6:30 PM

Our Yom HaShoah speaker this year is Dr. Irving Horowitz, son of our member Rita and the late Morris Horowitz.

Dr. Horowitz, who recently retired from periodontal practice in the Princeton area, is on the faculty of the NYU College of Dentistry.  Almost alone among their family members, Morris and Rita survived the Holocaust, after stays in different labor and detention camps.  Irving was born just after the war, in the DP camp where his parents met.  He and his parents came to New Jersey in the late 1940s, and were part of the Temple B’nai Abraham community from then on.

The Horowitz family home was one in which the Holocaust never ceased to dwell.   Irving will share with us his thoughts about the impact his personal Holocaust history has had on his own life’s journey as he grew up, married, raised his own family, and moved from academic success to professional achievement.

Please light your Yom HaShoah candle provided by TBA Men's Club,  the evening of May 4,  in memory of those who perished in the Shoah.
