Take the opportunity this December to share our homeland of Israel with your family. Join with your TBA friends and you will come back profoundly moved with memories you will never forget. This tour will be personally led by Rabbi David Vaisberg and Mrs. Miriam Palmer-Sherman, with arrangements by SY Travel Israel.
The tour will take place Dec. 22, 2024 to Jan. 1, 2025 (landing back home on Jan. 2), staying overnight in Tel Aviv, S'vat, and Jerusalem. Please find the tentative itinerary, rates, and other trip details at this link. The trip will include (subject to change): - Visiting the Palmach Museum and the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation - Visit the Roman theater in Cesarea and walk along the Mediterranean coast.
- Culinary tour of the famous Machne Yehuda Market in Jerusalem - Seeing Masada and the Dead Sea - B'nei Mitzvah Shabbat service at the egalitarian section of the Kotel led by Rabbi Vaisberg - Lighting Hanukkah candles at the Kotel - Participating in an archaeological dig - always a highlight favorite for kids and adults alike. For detailed air and land costs, please see the registration form page. Click here for the registration form, now open through SY Travel. Be sure to sign up as soon as possible, as this trip has limited availability. This trip is appropriate for first-timers to Israel as well as repeat visitors. Non-temple members are welcome when sponsored by temple members. Security and safety are paramount on this trip. All precautions will be taken. Please let me know if you have any questions. This will be an enormously meaningful trip, which will make lifetime memories and deepen friendships. I look forward to joining with you in this sacred endeavor. L’shalom, Rabbi David Vaisberg |
