Join Rabbi Vaisberg throughout the year for bi-weekly sessions of Lunch and Learn on Tuesdays from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM - a congregational tradition.
The coursework will be Modern Jewish Thought 101:
Who are the thinkers who have shaped Jewish philosophical and theological thinking in the modern era? Each session we will study a different thinker or area of thought, working our way to the greats of this current generation.
We’ll cover the work of Buber, Heschel, Soloveitchik, and others, and explore thinking around topics including Zionism, the Holocaust, Feminism, and more. Be sure to bring some lunch and an appetite for learning!
